Ajaa Sharon is a committed and hardworking ICT professional currently serving as an Assistant ICT Officer at Kabale University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communications Technology (Kabale University, 2023) and is Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate Certified (OCIA) through Oracle University (2021 & 2023).
She previously contributed to the Regional ICT Innovation Hub of Western Uganda, supporting regional digital innovation initiatives. Sharon is passionate about advancing digital inclusion and mentoring young women in ICT through community engagement, innovation exhibitions, and advocacy for girls’ participation in technology.
During her time at Kabale University, she served as Guild Minister of ICT, Guild Website Administrator, and Female GRC Main Campus representative, demonstrating strong student leadership. She was also among the top five nationally in the Huawei ICT Competition, earning the opportunity to represent Uganda at the continental level, and showcased innovations at the YouthConnekt Africa Summit.
