There has been an e-learning training for freshers in the use of e-learning tools available at Kabale university. The freshers were taken through the registration process on both e-learning and AIMS, logging to both Applications and interacting with a number of action therein.
The Students were learnt the following during the training:
- Logging into KAB e-learning platrom
- Editing their profiles
- Enrolling into courses
- Identifying the different resources and activities
- Downloading and interacting with online resources within a course page
- Submitting Assignments on the e-learning portal
- Attending online classes through BigBlueButton and Google Meet
- Attempting an online quiz / test (Auto graded and Manual)
The following was covered on AIMS
- Logging into AIMS App and student Portal
- Registering your courses for the semester
- Paying of school Fees and other requirements
- Accessing student Marks
- Generating an Exam card
This training was attended by over 1000 new students for the August 2020/2021 intake
