Higher Education Training Certificate (HETC) at Kabale University

Kabale University amidst CIVID-19 challenges is undertaking the higher education training certificate for its teaching staff online. The training is starting on the 10/08/2020 over the university’s e-learning portal at https://elearnining.kab.ac.ug. Over fifty (50) members of teaching staff have signed up for the second session of the same training. The training will be facilitated by Dr. Akena Francis, Dr. Sekiwu Denis and Dr. Aheisibwe Irene.

The training material and class is on the university e-learning portal. The live class session will be over the university’s conferencing platform thru the e-learning portal.

Robert Tumusiime is the senior e-learning officer at Kabale University. He holds a masters of Information technology degree and a BSc. Computer Science from Makerere University. He has been at the forefront of deploying high end Websites, Mobile - Web applications and eLearning systems in Uganda and the East African region for the last 14 years.
